Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
Weeeeee ! :)
Meet Mischief, the name suits him well. But I love the thing :)
“There is cold, and there is cold on a motorcycle. Cold on a motorcycle is like being beaten with cold hammers while being kicked with cold boots, a bone bruising cold. The wind’s big hands squeeze the heat out of my body and whisk it away; caught in a cold October rain, the drops don’t even feel…
#DOPESHIT: Twenty-One Artists + Twenty-One Helmets
Maybe :P I have a Nighthawk 250 (I think I posted a picture more recently) and an Interceptor 500 :)
- People who think they’re doing you a favor by constantly telling you it’s dangerous
- Waiting for the bike to heat up when it’s cold
- People who constantly try to demean the *idea* that you chose your own death
- Stop and go traffic for way too long with your clutch hand
- People who compare you to squids (riders with NO gear)
- When my helmet fogs from my breath, and it’s cold out !
- People who compare you to dumbasses who ride beyond their skill level
- My need to look good while riding (I will make something, damnit!)
- People who tell stories about someone they know that died, thinking you’ll get scared
Oh, I guess I just hate people, sometimes.
Jessica Maine, the modern stunt woman
“Representing nearly ten percent of all motorcycle owners worldwide, female riders have remained the fastest growing segment in the two-wheeled marketplace for several years in a row.”
Okay, not bad, since I didn’t crash or die or anything…
On the other hand… Jinx-y made another Nighthawk 250 friend!
“Driving a motorcycle is like flying. All your senses are alive. When I ride through Beverly Hills in the early morning, and all the sprinklers have turned off, the scents that wash over me are just heavenly. Being House is like flying, too. You’re free of the gravity of what people think. ” – Hugh Laurie, actor.
I want:
White combat boots…Because who likes my Army boots anyway?
Black knee-high combat boots…Because I retired my buckle-y one.
A petticoat…Because it’s floofy.
Fabric…Because I need to sew. Lots. For me, for once.
Tights, lots of tights...Because I love dresses and tights.
Another motorcycle…Because it’s a lifestyle.
VROOM!
At the Cycle World International Cycle Show…
Made me think about my next (third!!) bike; this is the 2012 Ninja 250R…
Considering this vs the CBR250R! :D
But I leave for training…so I guess it’s more of a decision when I come back :D
Paul bought me a new motorcycle ! :D I named him Midnight !
