To answer your question: I've made the lining part, but I'm a bit worried about attaching it. I've done lining before but I don't think I did it right.
How’d you do it last time ?
When I’ve done lining (not often, I tend to steer clear of sleeves for some reason, ha!) where I would first attach it to the flaps of the jacket and around the collar. You’d do that right sides (shell + lining) facing in. When you flip the lining and the shell right side out it should start looking right like a liner. I would baste or handsew the bottom of the lining to the bottom of the shell (folding over, using the extra seam allowance you have). And then do the same for the sleeves.
